Turn any content into your voice with RSS feeds, enjoy animations that actually make sense, and watch your AI handle comments like a pro. This week was all about making Wepost feel right.
Week 36 isn't flashy. It's the kind of update where everything just feels better, but you can't quite put your finger on why. We spent the week obsessing over the details that were making people's workflows stutter.
Let's talk about inspiration feeds first. You know that feeling when you read a great Substack post or watch a YouTube video and think "I have thoughts on this"? Now you can connect any RSS feed directly to Wepost. Pull in your favorite newsletters, YouTube channels, whatever inspires you. Then with one click, turn that inspiration into your own authentic take. It's content creation that starts with a spark instead of a blank page.
The animations were driving people nuts. You'd click something in chat, wait for it to load into the caption field, and it felt like two separate apps trying to talk through a bad phone connection. We rewired the whole thing. Now when you move from chat to caption, the animations actually flow together. The scroll in chat doesn't jitter anymore either. It's the kind of fix you don't notice until you realize you're not annoyed anymore.
We cleaned up the chat interface because it was getting crowded. Removed some stuff from the top that nobody clicked, trimmed the bottom section that was just taking up space. What's left is just the essentials, but they look way better now. Sometimes the best design decision is knowing what to take away.
Scheduling was a maze. You'd pick a time, select channels, hit save, and pray it actually worked. We rebuilt the whole flow to be dead simple. Pick when, pick where, done. It saves automatically, shows you exactly what's scheduled, and doesn't make you second-guess whether it actually worked.
Here's a fun one: your AI now does comments. Generate them, edit them, schedule them - all from the same chat interface. Perfect for when you want to engage but don't have time to craft the perfect response to every post. Let the AI handle the first draft, tweak if needed, schedule, move on.
The planner got its act together. Channels display correctly, images show up where they should, and the timer actually tells you the right time. But the best part? Drag and drop is instant now. No more watching a post hang in mid-air while the planner thinks about where to put it.
None of these changes will make it into our marketing videos. They're not sexy features we can slap on a landing page. They're just the things that were annoying you every day, now fixed.
Sometimes the best updates are the ones that make you forget the software exists. Where everything just works the way your brain expects it to. This week was all about getting out of your way.
Next week? We're cooking up something bigger. But for now, enjoy a Wepost that flows like it should've from day one.
Have an awesome week creating content!
